1. PRINTS
Kindly take note: We cannot guarantee the exact place of print to where it will be placed on our leathers and/or fabric printed shoes & especially our lace sewing on leather shoes, to be the same as on the pictures on our website due to our high volume production line. We use only 'repeat' designer patterns. If you are not happy about the placements on shoes you received, we will be happy to exchange it for another pair. The courier back and forth will be then for you, the customer's account.
- Dye color on leather skins may also slightly differ due to every batch being matured at different times so the exact color may differ slightly.
- We only use genuine South African leather skins so there might be small scuff marks on the leather and this proofs then for authentically home grown cows grazing in the veld and is therefore not bonded-leather or 'false' leather. We use a breathable vinyl 'lining' which are specifically made for the shoe industry on the inside of the shoe to give it a more stable & firm feel for comfort when wearing the shoes. You can clean out the inside of your shoes with a damp cloth after wearing.
- Please note that our selected handcrafted outer soles that we use are made from a PU rubber or Poly-uterine resin so the shoe is made to be worn to most occasions and is not made for an outdoor adventure in nature. Photos are only for marketing purposes.
- All our shoes which need ankle bridge straps are made with a standard length to accommodate all our customers. If you feel that the straps are too long for your feet, you are welcome to ask our professional advice on how to shorten them.
*NB If you know, with previous experience of purchasing shoes online or a walk-in shop, that you have unique small, skinny or wider feet, please consult us first before purchasing online for the best advice.
- All our shoes are 'Handmade" so there are different people working on each pair of shoes. No pair of the same size or design will be exactly the same. There may be a slight difference in small details and comfort. If you feel like you want to exchange your new pair for a better fit, we would gladly assist bear in mind you as the customer are responsible for covering shipping costs of all exchange processes.
2. How to clean/care for your shoes
- To clean the fabric printed upper shoes, use a dry clean cloth to wipe the dust and damp clean cloth to wipe off any stubborn dirt residue after wearing.
- To clean the inside of the shoes, made from breathable vinyl lining, use clean dump cloth after wearing.
- To clean your soles, use a damp cloth for wiping off any dirt residue after wearing.
-
DO NOT use any chemical cleaning substance like spirits, alcohol or dubbin products. This will definitely damage your beautiful shoes. Most spirits, especially alcohol, can damage genuine leather shoes by drying out the leather, causing it to become stiff, crack, and lose its natural oils, potentially leading to discoloration and a significant reduction in the lifespan of the shoes: therefore, it's best to avoid exposing your leather shoes as well as the soles to any type of alcohol.
